Good job on making the ending a visual ominous build-up, spent 20 minutes in constant unease and yep! it was justified alright

Couldn't put it down once I got started. What an absolutely delightful way to present the feeling of being stabbed in the gut.

Every time you make a game it gives me emotions that only shrimp can see

This was incredible; I was hooked beginning to end and your characters feel so real the whole time and the format serves the story perfectly and it's all just SO impressive well done!!

fuckin hell! incredible, gut wrenching stuff. brilliant work!

thank you!!! <3

excellent stuff! really nice use of the domino tool, it’s so clever…

one thing worth pointing out: the text cuts out on a few of the cards, making it impossible to read the end of certain sentences. i would recommend tweaking the CSS to either making the font size just a little bit smaller, or making the cards fit the height of the text columns (or both).

thank you for your comment! i'm glad that you liked the use of the tool :) it's a very cool one, and i was very excited to use it for this jam.

i believe the text cut off is a browser issue; i was very careful to make sure it was all readable on my browser of choice, but have since tested it on a couple of others, and the grid and header style cards were definitely affected by it. i've uploaded a new version with some small edits that should hopefully solve the issue. thank you for bringing it to my attention! and thank you for playing.

ahh the old chrome/firefox text rendering discrepancy… unfortunately i still get the cropped text on firefox (my main browser), but it looks completely fine on chrome!

really nice story, loving the stuff ppl are making for this jam

Incredible story, I was hooked to the end.
